Abel Sensors has been providing technology for bicycle parkings for over 10 years. Since the founding in 2014, Abel Sensors established itself as the market leader in the field of detection for bicycle parkings and parking guidance. We are present in many Dutch cities and throughout Europe, with an active install base of over 150.000 monitored bicycle parking spaces. Our bicycle detection systems are an enabler for seamless first & last mile transitioning in multi-modal transportation. Using dynamic signs, we can quickly and reliably guide visitors to available places. The system will monitor all parked bicycles and will indicate when a parked bicycle exceeds the allowed parking time. For paid parking facilities we offer an easy to use, app-based payment system with tailor-made branding. Live parking data can be integrated in apps, external displays or used for historical data analyses. Our detection systems are flexible and will fit in any parking facility, both indoors and outdoors and both in new and existing buildings. Configurations are always tailored to the local situation with various options for signage and wayfinding.
