The DB Rad+ App transforms urban mobility by motivating people to swap cars for bikes and trains. Cyclists are rewarded for recording and sharing their routes, enabling data-driven improvements to cycling and station infrastructure. Users collect kilometers, redeem them for digital or local rewards, and track their personal cycling stats like speed, CO2 savings, and routes. Group challenges and community features make cycling fun and social. DB Rad+ can be used in municipalities Germany Wide, offering a seamless experience and valuable cycling insights through the DB Rad+ Visio tool and API. Launched in 2020 and awarded for its design, the app already partners with over 200 partner shops. Municipalities can use Rad+ for climate campaigns, direct engagement, and smarter infrastructure planning. With DB Rad+, cities and rail networks move towards a greener, more active future.
